From The Nashville Scene: Critic's Picks -

The 8th Grade Singer-guitarist Paul Cassella and bassist Austin Hall bonded in junior-high marching band, and judging from their trio's ingratiating, lovably snotty sensibility, their inner band geeks aren't just sitting on their flutes. The four power-pop nuggets on their four-song EP are a breathless jumble of whiplash choruses, bubblegummy hand claps and stop-start dynamics courtesy of drummer Troy Stone. At its most juvenile--as when they're upbraiding the superachiever heroine of "Judy in Bloom" for being smart and popular--their collegiate cleverness can be as nagging as it is impressive. On the other hand, you can forgive a lot of a band who build a rock-solid hook off the name of teen-queen novelist Judy Blume. Give these guys a permanent hall pass. They perform at the Pub of Love with Gavin Mikhail and Tammi Rhoton.
